Parkinson's disease is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects motor function, cognitive function, mood, and autonomic function. This course is divided into three parts: pathology, symptoms, and care practices. Parkinson's will eventually become a disabling disease, but this course will help the administrator understand and care and treatment can help the resident slow its progression, maintain their independence for as long as possible, and protect their dignity.
